Who provides the counselling
onlineberatung.digital arranges counselling in nine counselling fields: counselling for men, counselling for women, marriage counselling, family counselling, life counselling, couples counselling, separation and divorce, debt counselling and crisis counselling. The counselling is provided by the counselling centres and counsellors in the directory, online and, if a centre offers it, also in person. Every counsellor profile and every centre page names the centre and links to its legal notice and its privacy notice. This legal notice applies to the platform itself.

As a small business within the meaning of § 19 UStG (small business rule), no VAT is shown.
Professional information
Social worker (M.A. in Rehabilitation and Health, FH Kiel, Kiel University of Applied Sciences). The professional title was awarded in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Counselling on this platform is not psychotherapy and not medical treatment (Heilkunde). It does not replace treatment by a doctor or psychotherapist. The counsellors and their centres are responsible for their counselling, according to the rules of their profession and their counselling field.
Professional liability insurance
Information according to § 2 Abs. 1 Nr. 11 DL-InfoV (German Regulation on Information Obligations for Services): There is professional liability insurance for counselling and coaching (financial loss and general liability insurance, consulting liability). Consumer dispute resolution
The European Commission discontinued its platform for online dispute resolution (ODR platform) on 20 July 2025. I am not willing and not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG, German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act).
Liability for content
As a service provider, I am responsible for my own content on these pages under general law according to § 7 Abs. 1 DDG. According to §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, I am not obliged to monitor third-party information that is transmitted or stored, or to look for circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the time a specific legal violation becomes known. If I become aware of such violations, I will remove this content immediately.
The texts and photos on the counsellor profiles and on the pages of the counselling centres are posted by the counsellors and centres themselves.
