Your centre's public page

For centre leads. What is on your centre's page, how to upload a logo or picture, what the platform operator adds and when you appear in the directory.

What is on the page

Every approved centre has its own page on onlineberatung.digital. It shows:

  • your logo or picture, otherwise your centre's initials,
  • the name of your centre and your city, with “Counselling centre” or “Private practice”,
  • one line about who you are there for,
  • your counselling fields,
  • under “About us”, your text about the centre,
  • under “Who counsels here”, all counsellors with a visible counsellor profile,
  • links to your website, legal notice and privacy notice, if they have been added.

In “Manage centre”, the “Public page” card shows you the current status. If your centre is approved, “View page” opens the page as people seeking support see it.

What you change yourself

In the “Public page” card, “Edit” opens the “Edit public page” window:

Field What goes in it
“Type” “Counselling centre” if you counsel as a team. “Private practice” if you work on your own.
“Counselling fields” at least one field. People seeking support can filter the list of centres by them.
“Catchment area” “City and surrounding area” or “Nationwide”.
“Who you are there for” optional, one sentence, for example which district you cover.
“About your centre” optional, who you are and how you work.

“Save” makes the change apply immediately.

If you leave “Who you are there for” empty, onlineberatung.digital writes a short line itself, matching the catchment area.

The city comes from your “Billing details”. If you change the town there, it also changes on the page. More on this in Licences, invoices and trial.

Logo or picture

A logo or picture makes your centre recognisable at a glance. It appears here:

  • on your card under “Find counselling centres”,
  • at the top of your centre's page,
  • small on your team's counsellor profiles,
  • small in the room your clients see.

How to upload it:

  1. In “Manage centre”, open the “Public page” card.
  2. Click “Upload logo or picture”.
  3. Choose the file. JPG, PNG and WebP up to 8 MB work. The longer side needs at least 200 pixels.
  4. Choose what you are uploading. We show “A logo” in full, with a small margin on a white background. “A photo”, for example of your premises, is cropped to a square from the middle.
  5. Confirm that your centre may use the picture, and click “Save”.

When saving, we remove camera data and location details from the picture. Transparent areas become white. If your logo itself is white, use a version with a coloured background.

“Replace picture” uploads a new one, and the old one disappears. “Remove” takes the picture out. Your initials then appear again.

Tip: Online rooms from bookings do not have their own counselling field. In the statistics they count under the only field of the counsellor profile, otherwise under the only field of your centre. More on this in Your centre's statistics.

What the platform operator adds

Some things the platform operator sets up for you:

  • the name of your centre,
  • the links to your website, legal notice and privacy notice,
  • whether you counsel free of charge or for a fee,
  • your counsellors' profiles, which the platform operator sets up and publishes together with them.

In the “Enabled” card you see what applies to your centre: “Video in the room”, “AI draft” and “Counselling”. For changes there and to the points above, get in touch with the platform operator via Contact.

When your centre appears in the directory

Your centre is listed under “Find counselling centres” as soon as three things come together:

  1. The platform operator has approved your centre.
  2. Your centre is not blocked, for example after the trial.
  3. At least one counsellor profile at your centre is visible.

A counsellor profile is visible when the platform operator has published it, the person is approved and is an active member of your centre. Depending on the platform operator's settings, the person may also need a licence for this. The team list shows you what is still missing for a person. More on this in Managing the team.

Your own page exists from approval onwards. As long as nobody is visible there, “Who counsels here” shows the sentence “No appointments can be booked here right now.”

City and surrounding area or nationwide

With “City and surrounding area” you appear when someone selects your city under “Find counselling centres”.

With “Nationwide” you also appear for every other city, in a separate “Nationwide” list. This suits you if you counsel people regardless of where they live.
